Future First Academy is a school for the the kids of the Kayayeis, located at old fadama (agbogbloshie).

These kayayeis are group of ladies who mostly work in big markets by carrying other people’s items for a fee. The ladies mostly come from the north of Ghana to Accra for greener pastures.  These ladies come to Accra without anybody in mind to settle with. Some sleep on the streets, in front of stores, markets among others as a result they end up pregnant and give birth without any help. They do not have any family to assist them and as a result of this they had to carry their children at their backs the entire day while working. The less privileged group consists of both, children of the single mothers (kayayeis) and children of families in the community who face similar problems.
