Teaching in Public Schools

Teaching English/arts and crafts/social sciences/etc. to the underprivileged Nepalese at Nepal public schools.

Interns/Volunteers participating in TLC’s Program will teach various English language programs at our partner schools  Since English language is the most essential language today. Learning English helps develop our clients’ and students’ development whether scoring better in their exams or provide better employment prospects.

Starting with basics of the language, the students or kids in our partner schools are delighted if they are able to learn simple, short sentences, which enable them to understand English and express themselves in the same language. Other than that volunteers according to their qualification and experience will be involved in teaching other subjects as well. Volunteers mainly assist the local staff or the staff of the schools and evolve new ways of teaching in a play-way method.

Other than that you can also introduce or involve yourself in extra/co curricular activities which most public schools lack. The children would enjoy these activities.

Volunteers are mostly placed in primary/secondary school placements in our partner schools, or at teaching high school students in grades 8, 9 & 10. .

Note: - Volunteers do not need to be qualified teachers to join this program.
