Women Empowerment - Life Skills Teacher

This entails promotion of reproduction health among the women and girls to make informed decisions.

Volunteers working on the women Empowerment program in the slums of Kawangware and rural areas have a chance of training the women and girls a host of things. This meant to help women and young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds in both urban and rural setup make informed life long decisions concerning their reproductive lives.

Volunteers working on this program enjoy a rewarding experience since they share one of the issues that's close to the women and girls. Working with smaller groups of trainers who are in charge of dozens of other members on this and many other issues that affect women in their day to day lives. They also teach them about life skills, literacy skills, forms of women Empowerment, project planning, entrepreneurship among others. An independent African woman is good for the community hence the need for their strengthening.

Volunteers working on this program need not be qualified since they'll work under community social workers and community health workers. Since most international organisations support women Empowerment initiatives, volunteers will find it easy to work with these women and girls for the betterment of the community and nation at large. Anyone willing to make a change this is the program for you as you will impact on someone completely.
