The project
Combining the essence of contributing for welfare of poor communities and adrenaline of adventure activities, VolSol brings you this 2 Weeks Special Program in Peru. This program is particularly convenient for volunteers who do not have time to commit to a month or more of volunteering abroad but would like to make some contribution and also travel along with other volunteers on the weekends to one of the most spectacular places in Peru.
Volunteer work
As a part of this program, volunteers will get to work at Intercultural programs, spending time with children in community centers and schools. Volunteers will be working in rural nursery schools where there is just 1 teacher for 30 little kids aged between 3 and 5 years old. During those two weeks you will be helping four hours daily from Monday to Friday. You will provide care, love and attention for these children as well as assisting the Peruvian staff at the projects.
These intercultural projects mainly contribute to the development of the poorest families in the local population, principally in poor rural areas and marginalized urban areas in order for them to attain integral human development, which translates into better living conditions in harmony with nature.
The tours
While, weekdays are spent in altruistic activities, weekends are all for fun, frolic, and adventures. Explore the beautiful city of Cusco, its intact traditional lifestyle, and heritage sites. Discover the Sacred valley of the Incas - go on a guided tour to visit the beauty of Pisaq, Ollantaytambo ruins, and small towns around.
