English with HOOP is an after-school space that provides a stimulating English learning environment for children and adolescents from the outskirts of Arequipa.

Plan classes for students between the ages of 3 - 17 (each volunteer will teach a specific age group, so they won’t have to plan for so many ages).
Teach English to one group of 20 students (Monday to Friday, 3:30 - 5:00 pm / Saturday, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm).

The 2023 HOOP English Program goes from March to December. To guarantee an optimal learning experience, for both kids and volunteers, we encourage participation of 3+ months but require a minimum commitment of 1 month.

You can participate in the program in any of the following periods:

March - Mid-July (winter break)
Mid-August - December (summer break)
