    Community centres are welcoming and respectful environments that foster the psychomotor, social, emotional, and overall development of children aged six months to three years, with support from community care assistants. The local staff appreciate support form volunteers around the world, allowing the children to meet people from around the world. 

    Volunteers have the opportunity to engage in shared experiences with the children, gain insights into child development, collaborate within a community-based and supportive setting, and acquire valuable experience in managing children’s nutrition. You will help and assist the local staff with meal times, playtime, naptimes and educational activities for the children.

    Minimum leeftijd: 18 jaar

    Om deel te nemen aan het programma dien je tenminste 18 jaar oud te zijn op de startdatum van het programma. Er kunnen uitzonderingen gemaakt worden indien je een bewijs van toestemming kan aantonen van uw wettelijke voogd(en) of samen met je ouders deelneemt.

    Accomodatie

    Upon arrival in Quito, volunteers are required to visit the main house to receive essential safety guidelines and receive information about the country. Accommodation is provided in the main house, where you will stay in dormitories with 1-4 people per room. 

    The project accommodation will be with an Ecuadorian host family. 


    Eten & Drank

    You will receive 3 meals a day. The food will be local Ecuadorian cuisine, vegetarians are welcome but we are not able to cover vegans needs, because they are very strict. Vegetarianism and veganism are not part of the Ecuadorian culture.
