There are two main volunteering fields that you can get involved in:
- Education - Program volunteers can help at the local school & organize extra activities
- Environment - Other volunteering projects include farming, developing eco infrastructure of the camp, such as waste recycling. Help to make it self-sustain camp where people feel like at home and can reconnect with nature.
In the free time we help you to get to know real nepalese life. From the camp you can start one day hiking, rafting, kayaking, canyoning. For some who are looking quiet time we have morning meditation and yoga classes on the sandy river bank.

When is the best time to go trekking?
In general, October to December and March to June are the two trekking seasons. However, there are some treks like Dolpo and Upper Mustang that can be done all year round.
When is the best time for rafting & kayaking?
The beast season for rafting and kayaking is from midSeptember to the end of November and from March to June, but there are some rivers that can be run all year round.
When is Monsoon season?
In summer, between June & August.
Do I need my own gear?
While you are welcome to bring your own trekking, camping or paddling gear, we can provide you with everything you’ll need. Please bring appropriate clothing for your trip. Feel free to ask us for suggestions on what to bring.
