  • the farm is a 5 minutes walk from the village where you can get almost everything, from there it is a 1 hour bus ride to get to the big town where there are shopping center, cinema, beach....

    A volunteer program helping to care of our typical Peruvian Paso horses, train them and guide our guest on riding tours to the Pre Inca Pyramids.

    In the course of this stay, the participants will take care of the horses' care and training, if knowledge exists. If not, you can learn how to handle horses, as well as riding..     In the course of this stay, the participants will take care of the horses' care and training, if knowledge exists. If not, you can learn how to handle horses, as well as riding.. For riding the horses, maximum weight is 75 Kilo. You organize, plan and accompany the riding tours with the guests to the archaeological sites and temples of the Incas and Pre-Incas and take care of the tourists. If you do not want to work with horses, there is a lot of other work where you can take part. In addition to the horses, there are also many other animals on the farm, such as chickens, ducks, cows, rescued street dogs and cats. You can also help with the work on the fields or during the maintenance and beautification of the farm. You can tackle wherever you are needed.

    You may also learn how to cut the hoof of a horse, how to melk a cow  and may learn how to prepare homemade cheese and yogurt.

    1 to  6 weeks cost Euro 250.-- per week

     Program fees include: 

    • fullboard (Monday to Friday, Saturday breakfast and lunch)
    • accommodation
    Please note: Saturday evenings and Sundays are for self catering

    Airport pick up:
    We can organize a wellknown taxi driver to pick you up at the airport, hostal or bus terminal in Chiclayo. Transfer taxi costs 20 US

    Breakfast: Bread, eggs, honey,  jam, milk, home-made yogurt and cheese from our cows and fruits like mangos from our trees depending on the season

    We do provide food for volunteers with special dietary requirements, e.g. vegetarians.

    Volunteers are allowed to use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare their meals together with the other participants on Saturday evening and Sundays.

    You will be picked up at Chiclayo airport. (1 hour flight from the capital, Lima to Chiclayo (CIX), or pick you up at a hotel or bus terminal in Chiclayo. Transfer taxi costs 15 US.
