This unique program gives you the chance to connect with these children, help them build their confidence, and improve their English through fun and engaging holiday activities.

You’ll be placed at a local school to support a holiday program focused on English and sports. Working alongside local teachers, you’ll help prepare and deliver lessons while leading interactive activities such as games, gardening, and music. The goal is to make learning enjoyable and meaningful, giving children a chance to practice their English in a supportive and creative environment.

Program Highlights:

Your Role:

• Assist children with basic hygiene and self-care routines like hand washing, tooth brushing, hair combing, and nail trimming.
• Work alongside local teachers to teach basic English.
• Plan and organise fun and educational activities.
• Lead storytelling sessions, songs, dances, and games.
• Facilitate arts and crafts, colouring, and other creative exercises.
• Support general activities at the school or centre.
• Prepare and review evaluation materials and help mark exams or assessments.

Location

Kajjansi is a small but growing town located along the main road between Uganda’s capital city, Kampala, and Entebbe International Airport. It offers a peaceful, semi-rural setting while still being conveniently close to urban amenities. Surrounded by lush greenery and small farms, Kajjansi is known for its tight-knit community, local markets, and artisanal craft centres.
