Welcome to Our World of Horses, Healing, and Heart in Rajasthan

Hi! I’m Charlotte — a French-British girl who fell in love with India (and with my Indian husband, Manjeev) over a decade ago.

In 2017, after intensive training at the Monty Roberts Center in California and hands-on experience in horse establishments around the world — from polo grounds in Argentina to safaris in Mozambique and working with wild mustangs in the U.S. — we opened India’s first natural horsemanship school.

Since then, we’ve been dedicated to teaching natural horsemanship and groundwork to local students while welcoming passionate volunteers from all over the world. It’s been an incredible journey, though not without challenges — especially keeping our horses on rented land near the bustling city of Gurugram.

But in 2025, we reached a huge milestone: we purchased our own piece of land in the serene countryside just outside Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Now begins an exciting new chapter — transforming this raw land into a sanctuary for our horses, our rescue animals, and the people who come to learn and grow with us.

We have big dreams, and we’d love your help making them a reality.

We are creating India’s first “paddock paradise” tracking system — a natural, enriching environment designed for horses’ physical and mental well-being. We’re also building a space where people can immerse themselves in gentle horse training, animal care, and the vibrant culture of rural and urban India.

But we’re starting from scratch — and that’s where you come in.

As a volunteer, you’ll stay with us in a cozy Airbnb in the heart of Jaipur, a 40km drive from the farm. (Our on-site accommodations are still under construction.) You’ll enjoy home-cooked vegetarian meals, a private room with an en-suite bathroom, and a unique blend of rural tranquility and urban adventure.

Whether you’re passionate about animals, eager to learn natural horsemanship, or simply curious about life in India — our program offers a meaningful and immersive experience.

Also known as “horse whispering,” natural horsemanship is a gentle, psychology-based approach to training horses.

Manjeev is Asia’s only certified Monty Roberts instructor, with experience working with wild mustangs and in equine therapy programs for war veterans and at-risk youth. I’m an advanced Monty Roberts student, passionate about building confidence and connection through horses.

You'll begin by learning theory and practicing with our well-trained horses. Later, you'll assist in workshops both on and off the farm, depending on our schedule.

We share our lives with 9 rescued dogs and 1 cat — all cuddle addicts! You’ll help walk, play with, and care for them. 

Our farm is in the peaceful Rajasthani countryside, while our home is in Jaipur — a city bursting with color, culture, food, and history. This gives you the best of both worlds: serene village life and vibrant city living.

From long nature walks to bustling markets, cozy cafés to chaotic traffic jams — you’ll get an authentic taste of Indian life, far beyond the typical tourist trail.

   With many animals to care for, we cherish volunteers who can spend quality time with them — cuddling, walking, training, and just being present.

2. Promote Non-Violent Horse Training
   By learning and spreading natural horsemanship, you help us challenge harmful practices and promote a more compassionate way to work with horses.

3. Support Our Courses
   Assist in our workshops, guide fellow students, and help create a welcoming, educational environment for all who come to learn.

4. Help Build the Farm: Love plants? Handy with tools? Or just eager to get your hands dirty? Help us grow gardens, set up fencing, and create an oasis for all creatures who live here.

5. Tell Our Story
   Got a knack for photography or writing? Help us share our journey through social media, create awareness about equine welfare, and document this exciting adventure.

• We’re a small, family-run initiative — not a big organization.

• Most of our volunteers come solo and quickly become part of the family.

• We run the program year-round, but the best time to visit is October to March (April-June is hot, July-September is monsoon season — adventurous souls still welcome!).

• All meals are home-cooked vegetarian food, and your accommodation includes a private room, bathroom, and AC. (Note: it’s a third-floor walk-up with no elevator.)
