5 Project reviews of Volunteer Vietnam

Project Details

Our projects aim to reduce poverty and inequalities, through education and sustainable strategies focused on ethical volunteering and social well-being.

Volunteer Vietnam's mission is to connect people with locals in Vietnam, with a long history of operation (founded in 2004) and years of experience in working with international volunteers.  Volunteer Vietnam is recognized as one of the biggest volunteer organizations in Vietnam. Their projects aim to reduce poverty and inequalities,  through education and sustainable strategies focused on ethical volunteering and social well-being.

We run our volunteer programs at two locations in Vietnam. Our main base is in Da Nang city, the commercial and educational center of Central Vietnam.  Danang is the largest city in the region and fourth-largest city in Vietnam. It also serves as one of the most significant seaports in the central region and is situated in central Vietnam between the capital city Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City in the south. Our new base is in Vi Thanh city, a provincial city and also the capital city of Hậu Giang Province in Vietnam. A new and small city that is 35 km from the Mekong Capital city Can Tho. The city is in the middle of the delta and has a beautiful landscape with rivers, canals, fruit, and flowers garden. A flat city which is good for biking and hiking with many photo opportunities.

Our friendly staff will make you feel at home.  The Volunteer Vietnam team is well organized and each member has experience in working with volunteers.  Volunteers are given a weekly schedule of their work times and activities.  Volunteers will have a meeting each day with the Volunteer Vietnam care team member to discuss the activities planned for the following day.

We have been providing daily cares in manpower, extra food, nutrition, healthcare, education which improves the quality of life of around 1,000 disadvantages who are abandoned children, homeless people, disabilities and poor children.
