Project Details

Volunteer Vietnam is a social service organization founded by Vietnamese people with the goal of creating international partnership through volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Vietnam was founded in 2004 by Mr. Viet Dang in order to meet the need he saw in his community. The organization has been operating in Da Nang in Central Vietnam since it's founding, and as of 2019 has opened a second location in the Mekong Delta region. Volunteer Vietnam partners with local government-run social service agencies to provide much-needed additional support. Volunteers get to participate in a variety of projects assisting both children and adults in need. Since our founding, Volunteer Vietnam has placed over 1,600 volunteers. We provide basic training prior to the start of our programs, so we are able to host volunteers without prior experience. Individuals, families, and large groups are all encouraged to apply. Come join our work and see what a difference you can make in the lives of those in need!
