About the program

The project

This program allows candidates to become camp counselors in Italy while living a great and very rewarding experience. You will have the possibility of meeting other tutors that share your same desire to discover Italian culture and travel around Europe or Italy after the program.

The program aims to face the huge Italian problem of the low level of the English language, the incapacity of communicating with different cultures and the low interest of the average population in this topic. We strongly believe that this program can modify the motivation of young students and the effort they put into study a new Language. Through this program, Italian kids and teens start to understand that English is not just a subject in school, but a way to communicate with people coming from other parts of the World.

Weekly Commitment

This is a 2-week full immersion program and you will be talking all day with the young Italian participants in a very laid-back and playful environment. We have chosen a great Italian venue, surrounded by nature, trees, hills, with a private swimming pool and an incredible sea view.

You will meet other counselors coming from several countries and you will have the chance to create an amazing bond with the local kids.

Arrivals will be on Fridays so that you will have all the time to relax, meet the other counselors, enjoy the swimming pool, and the surrounding areas. You will attend the orientation course which will give you the opportunity to start in the best way possible. Camp sessions will start on Sunday mornings and end on Saturday mornings.

About the project

You Can Camp works to bring people together, help you get out of your comfort zone and discover together new values and different ways of life.

Meet your organization

You Can Camp is an Italian inbound agency located in Fermo, on the beautiful Adriatic coast, in business since 2009. We have welcomed hundreds of participants who had the chance to experience the real Italian life through our programs.

Our cultural and language exchanges allows candidates to discover the Italian culture by teaching English in Italy for a period of 1-3 months. The programs aim to offer the satisfaction of helping people learn English, a way to broaden your world-view, strengthen your resume and experience the Italian life from “the inside”, and not like a tourist.Although our agency is located in Fermo, we have been running programs in many Italian regions since the beginning of our activity, thanks to the cooperation with well screened schools and host families.

We strongly believe that getting to really know other cultures and languages can make you a better person. It helps creating more awareness and kindness. It helps people accepting each other and understanding the huge need of respect there is in the World.

Our first concern is the safety of our participants, for this reason we give lots of importance to the selection process of the host families and organizations with whom we cooperate.

We are looking for candidates with an outgoing personality, interested in the education field and willing  to face the challenge of volunteering in another country.

Our mission is to contribute to the personal growth of every participant, through the contact with another culture. We work every day with the aim to develop the understanding of different cultures and to increase the passion for different languages. We are working to make Italian children and adults understand that knowing another language is a way to make friendships and meet people coming from all over the World.
