About the program

Experience international volunteering with Adventure Volunteer's volunteer programs in Tanzania, located city of Tanzania in Africa. Learn with volunteer projects for child development in Tanzania.

One of the ways to get to know a country is by volunteering, but not just any volunteering, but a different volunteering experience; where you can know, live and feel the true essence of that place and its people. You can do this by volunteering in Tanzania.

Get to know for yourself this wonderful country, which also needs that time that you can dedicate to a social cause as important as this one.

The main focus of volunteer programs in Tanzania is teaching young people, children and people with different abilities, as well as working with women. We seek to empower and develop all the skills and knowledge of children and young people from low-income communities.

As a volunteer in Zanzibar, you should be aware that there is not enough equipment to cope with the current demand for work. We hope that our volunteers will come up with new ideas and teaching methodologies that will motivate our children and young people to continue learning and build a better future for themselves.

Classes are organized in the volunteer program in Zanzibar teaching with children where you will participate as teacher support in the following areas (the volunteer does not create the classes independently):

  • Mathematics, computer science, languages and sports.
  • Art, dance and music activities
  • Health and hygiene talks
  • Environmental and gardening workshops
  • Reading and theater spaces
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the center
  • Assisting center staff and teachers

About the project

Support in the cooperation and creation of social and environmental projects in communities at risk of social exclusion, through international volunteering.

Meet your organization

ADVENTURE VOLUNTEER is a non-profit organization, established in 2017. We collaborate in the social and environmental field through projects of conservation and protection of the environment and animals, as well as in the social part through projects of empowerment of women, community development, functional diversity, medical or teaching.

Our team of collaborators has a deep experience in international volunteer programs.  We know all the realities of the areas where we are working, collaborating and where we have a presence.

Our projects offer volunteers the opportunity to meet, share and participate in social and environmental projects. These projects demand educational and recreational activities that benefit communities of different cultures and customs, communities with economic difficulties and different degrees of social exclusion.
