Details on arrival
Participants can start their medical internship program throughout the year according to their availability and hospital placement schedule. We recommend arriving in Nepal at least one day before the program begins to allow time for orientation, settling into the homestay, and meeting the program coordinator and fellow participants.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our team will welcome you and arrange your transfer to the homestay. During the orientation session, you will receive important information about the internship schedule, hospital placement, local culture, safety guidelines, and daily routines.
The medical internship officially begins after orientation, with hospital visits generally starting from 8:00 AM. Participants will stay at our comfortable local homestay, enjoy meals with fellow volunteers, and experience Nepali culture while gaining valuable practical medical exposure.
