    About the program

Experience the fast-paced world of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) through a unique hands-on medical internship in Nepal. This program offers aspiring healthcare professionals the opportunity to observe and participate in pre-hospital emergency care while working alongside experienced emergency physicians, nurses, paramedics, and ambulance personnel.

As an Emergency Ambulance EMS intern, you will gain practical insight into how emergency cases are managed from the moment an ambulance is dispatched until the patient is transferred to the emergency department. You may observe or assist, under appropriate supervision and within your level of training, in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, basic life support procedures, trauma management, emergency stabilization, patient transportation, and communication between ambulance crews and hospital emergency teams.

This internship is designed for medical students, nursing students, paramedic students, physician assistant students, emergency medical technician (EMT) trainees, and other healthcare learners who wish to strengthen their clinical knowledge through real-world exposure. Every activity is supervised by qualified healthcare professionals and follows local regulations, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality requirements.

Throughout the program, participants develop a deeper understanding of emergency medicine, trauma care, disaster response, pre-hospital patient management, ambulance operations, and teamwork in high-pressure situations. The experience also provides valuable exposure to healthcare delivery in a low-resource setting, helping participants build clinical confidence, communication skills, cultural awareness, and professional competence.
