About the program

Costa Rica is a country where you can meet with nature, get to know its culture and have that experience you have always been looking for through volunteering in Costa Rica.

In this project you will be able to enjoy a protected area. You will be surrounded by fauna and flora and you will experience the wonders of nature.

The volunteer performs tasks such as: Compost, care of the nursery, clearing trails for ecotourism, night and day monitoring of animals by kayak or walking, using cameras or taking data, mist nets, straining sand for plastic waste, environmental education with kids from the community, labeling with the turtle stores, reforesting the vegetation line between the community and the beach for sea turtle nesting (this provides vegetation corridors, helps the turtle avoid being dazzled by the light and also acts as a barrier), spay/neuter days with dogs to avoid zoonosis, live work with the sea turtles patrolling and controlling excessive tourism, and monitoring the behavior of the Jaguar, among others.

About the project

Support in the cooperation and creation of social and environmental projects in communities at risk of social exclusion, through international volunteering.

Meet your organization

ADVENTURE VOLUNTEER is a non-profit organization, established in 2017. We collaborate in the social and environmental field through projects of conservation and protection of the environment and animals, as well as in the social part through projects of empowerment of women, community development, functional diversity, medical or teaching.

Our team of collaborators has a deep experience in international volunteer programs.  We know all the realities of the areas where we are working, collaborating and where we have a presence.

Our projects offer volunteers the opportunity to meet, share and participate in social and environmental projects. These projects demand educational and recreational activities that benefit communities of different cultures and customs, communities with economic difficulties and different degrees of social exclusion.
