The Natural Horsemanship Student Program is designed for natural horsemanship and academic art of riding interested people, who want to combine an unique, inspiring learning and traveling experience with an unforgettable time in Costa Rica.
As a student you will be part of our team and learn Natural Horsemanship as well as enjoy tours and trails and meet many new people from around the world. This is a great opportunity to learn new things to take home and experience real Costa Rica. On top the Student Program has founded a charity project to support locals in training their horses as well as taking on rescues.
There is a wide range of activities you can get busy while beeing on our farm. You week will consist of:
The farm is a place where people from all over the world meet and share their passion for horses and traving. The team of Finca Soley loves to welcome guests and volunteers and consits of a professional horse trainer and volunteer coordinator.
You will be living on site in a shared house. Volunteers have their own kittchen and prepare their food Also their is a libary, study room, big living room, jungle terrace with hammoks, gardens. The farm is located on the edge of a small village called Chucuyo, within a 30 mins hike or 2 mins in car you arrive in Tucurrique with plenty of shops, restaurants a soccer field etc.

Long Term Stay (Natural Horsemanship Assistant)

After breakfast we head to the horses to care for them. Then we start with the training where you recieve a group session natural horsemanship. After lunchbreak we will eather head out on a trail, learn more in a theory lesson or discover Costa Ricas culture at one of the various tours that are offered (like kayak, sugar mill, coffeetour, river swim, jungle tour etc.)
Loads of educational material on Natural Horsemanship and academic art of riding, local markets, visit handcraft sugar factory, white water rafting, kayak tour, beach trips, waterfalls, local events etc.
Accomandation, Natural Horsemanship lessons (5x per week), trail rides and hikes (2x per week), project work, organisation, help by flight search, certifications, donation for horse welfare project
