    We need international NGO management volunteer to support us in our general charitable operations in Ghana.

    We often struggle to run our programs and to raise fund internationally, Which many of our team members are volunteers. For this reason, we urgently need management volunteer support to work in the field of funds-raising, proposal writing, administrative development, staff management, community development, reports, and case studies.

    Volunteer with the above skills will surely help us to enhance our project through problem solving in our various communities. Our community-based programs are focused on empowering the local communities and individual people. As much as you experience the daily life in Ghana you will also be participating in our daily operational management of our Charity.

     Volunteering with us means you joining hand with our team to give hope to the various communities we serve and same time great opportunity to meet people internationally to exchange many memorable experiences.

    As a volunteer you will be working alongside our TANF team both in administration and filed works. We equally expect volunteer to have strong passion and interest in charitable operations even if they have no experience we more than happy to guide and ensure they equally meets their expectations aswel. Volunteers are required to bring their laptop, Camera (If possible) and any other equipment that they believe will be of a great use during their time with us. 

    We also provide volunteers with a volunteer handbook that contains everything that they need to know in advance before their arrival. 

    Your time volunteering with us will not only allow you to positively impact the world, but you will also have the opportunity to become part of the TANF team in a long term.

     



    Typical day

    Wake up around 7.00 am, bath, breakfast. 

    Start work at 9.00 am in assigned institution. Work as your schedule provides. 

    Lunch at around 12 noon at the workplace or a nearby restaurant. 

    Return to work until 1.00 pm.

    The number of working hours ranges from 3 to 4 hours per day (optional), though the schedule is flexible to suit the volunteer. After working hours, the volunteer plans how he/she uses the remainder of the day. The volunteer can help with other community projects, including first aid training, planning health programs , or sports, games with the school children, or just relax and enjoy some free time. At about 6.00 pm supper is served, warm friendship from colleagues at work and town folk to keep you company and show you around and immerse into Ghanaian culture. Ghanaian's are renowned for their friendliness and hospitality.

    Minimum Age: 18 years

    In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.

      🍲 Food & Daily Transportation

      Food and daily transportation are not included in the programme fee. This allows volunteers to manage these expenses according to their personal preferences and budget.

      However, TANF Ghana will assist volunteers in finding affordable local meals, purchasing groceries, and arranging transportation to their project locations.

    Accommodation

    Volunteers stay in a comfortable and secure volunteer house in Oboadaka, Aburi, close to the communities and project locations. Volunteers are provided with a private room, while common areas such as the living room, kitchen and bathrooms are shared with other volunteers and members of the local support team.

    The house has basic facilities including electricity, running water, cooking facilities, beds, storage space and mosquito protection. Volunteers can relax, interact with others and experience everyday life within the local community.

    TANF Ghana provides local support throughout the stay and assists volunteers with any accommodation-related needs.

    Details on arrival

    We do accept volunteers throughout the year and have a welcome address as well as orientation within the first 3 days on arrival. The volunteer may also wish to spend their free time with other international volunteers in the area.
