About the program
Volunteers work alongside our animal keepers ensuring their needs are met, monitoring their general health and wellbeing and completing any work needed in the forest.
The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary is a sanctuary for rescued exotic primates. The focus of our primate keeping volunteer programme is to work alongside the primate keepers to ensure the health and wellbeing of our rescued primates (lemurs, monkeys and gibbon).

Free-time activities
On working days, most volunteers just like to relax after the evening meal, either by watching a movie or playing cards or a board game or just sitting and having a chat, maybe over a cold beer from the honesty bar.
