If you have a passion for hospitality or the culinary arts and are interested in gaining valuable & intense hands-on experience coupled with the change of exploring Greece then this program is designed for you. Our programs offer the change to gain experience & skills to fortify your tourism school application and help you evolve your professional career. You will get involved in various hands-on activities that will help you decide on your studies.

Hotel Administration: Interns will have the opportunity to support the activities of the front desk, bookings, event planning, liaising with travel agencies etc. The program is designed to be hands-on and allow the intern to work in various positions within the hotel’s administration offices.

Culinary: The participants will work side by side the Head Chef, the food preparation team and the restaurant manager to gain a holistic experience.

The internship timetable is expected to be full time with shift work (ie early starts, late finishes or weekend work), reflecting standard industry hours, up to 40 hours per week. Interns should be flexible and to also communicate any shift related prefrences. The team is made-up by well experienced professionals that have worked in the tourism industry for years and around the world, eliminating any language barriers and offering international expertise. Our tourism & hospitality internship program offers pre-tourism & graduates students the opportunity to gain top quality experience interning on one of the largest hotel complex in Greece. With valuable experience, you’ll develop your skills and understanding of different hospitality aspects.

As for Greece, perhaps there is no need for an introduction. It is one of the most popular and safest destinations in the world. Situated in southeast Europe it is blessed with sun, friendly people, rich cuisine and a truly unique landscape that spans from green forests to the deep blue sea. With its 2,500 years of history and its 1,400 islands there is plenty to discover in Greece and it will satisfy the most demanding visitor. Greece is one of the warmest countries in Europe with long, hot & dry summers and mild winters. The popular time to visit Greece is between May to September end. Occasionally heatwaves may occur with temperatures peaking (1-2 days) around 105°F / 41°C.

Free-time activities

The placement takes place inside a 1,200 room resort that also has 4 swimming pools, 3 dinning areas and a large sports center which participants can freely use. During your weekends you can travel to near by cities, towns or take the ferry to one of the hundreds of picturesque islands.

In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.

Your helping hand will be required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 - 17:00

Airport Pickup at Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport

The program fee includes a free airport pickup from Athens Airport, on the Sunday before the Monday start date. To qualify for the free pickup interns are required to arrive between 9am-6pm. At the airport interns will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel. For interns arriving at an earlier date, an airport pickup (and bus station drop-off) maybe provided if requested and subject to availability.


Accommodation

The accommodation is fully furnished (single beds), with WiFi, shared with 1-5 other same-gender interns. The last night of the accommodation is the Friday night of the final week, leaving interns free to depart on Saturday. Extra nights of accommodation or private apartments can be arranged in advance, if requested and subject to availability.

Internships start on Mondays and interns have a choice to participate to a program between a minimum of 4 weeks or up to a maximum of 12 weeks .
