By helping to foster inclusion, personal development and establish key life skills within these people, you can help to change their expectations for themselves and open up newpossibilities for their future. As a volunteer, you’ll work in afterschool centers as a positive role model assisting with homework, supporting and encouraging the studies of geography or history, organizing activities, as theatre sessions, helping with arts and crafts activities, sport activities and assisting with any other work that needs to be done at the organization.
International volunteers are seen as an important part of this education as young people at the centers often haven’t encountered different cultures and values before. This is an opportunity to you to bring new perspectives and creativity to these centers.

With charming old cities and towns, gorgeous beaches and more than thousand islands, its history has resulted in a very rich cultural diversity which was brought from Roman and Turkish, so Mediterranean and eastern European influences. These historical heritages mark the different regions of Croatia. Between Istria, Dalmatia and the center of Croatia, the gastronomy, lifestyle and accents can change a lot, making the country very diverse and interesting. Split, the second biggest city, has a specific Mediterranean influence that makes it especially welcoming, cosy and warmer. With its palace just on the seaside, Split brings a peaceful and fresh atmosphere that invites you to come and stay for a while.
The fees are used to provide food, accommodation, pick-up at the airport, guided city tour, material for the different activities and insurance. Please note that visa and airplane tickets are not included.
