The Missionvale Care Centre was founded by the amazing Sister Ethel. Known worldwide (Google her and you will see for yourself) for her compassion and dedication, Sister Ethel legacy lives on this project. From humble beginnings under a tree, it now stands tall, spreading care & love to those in need, especially those battling HIV/AIDS.

This center is like a big warm hug, aiming to uplift lives through love, teamwork, and personal growth. Calling all volunteers, especially those with medical skills and/or love for hard work and heartwarming experiences in the face of hardship!

Primary school: Picture a bustling hive of 140 kids learning the ropes of reading, writing, making pals, and kicking goals in sports. They crave personal attention and even homemade sandwiches from kind-hearted volunteers. Oh, and playtime antics must be supervised, of course!

Nutrition unit: A daily bread-and-soup combo is dished out to the Missionvale locals, empowering them to whip up a hearty meal for their loved ones. Plus, weekly food parcels are provided for families supported by the care center.

Medical support and clinic: Imagine an eye doc swooping in weekly, doling out free eye tests and specs to those in need. And guess what? Donated old glasses get a new lease on life here, helping people see the world anew. The clinic is a sanctuary for those battling TB and HIV/AIDS, staffed by compassionate nurses yearning for more hands-on-deck to spread healing vibes far and wide.

Crafter unit: Enter a world of hardworking women crafting up a storm - from snazzy curtains to chic handbags. Their creations light up the center and weekly fairs, and hey, they're even learning the art of sewing to boost their job prospects. Creative volunteers, time to shine!

Child support and development: After-school fun awaits the kids - think meals, computer wizardry, storytelling sessions, drumming beats, cultural dances, and outdoor sports. Energetic and patient volunteers, your time to shine and make a difference!

Clothing warehouse: A bustling hub where donated clothes find new owners. Sorting and cleaning are the name of the game, ensuring every soul in need gets a clothing parcel that fits and sparkles clean. Ready to lend a helping hand?

Community gardens: Green thumbs unite! Residents get their hands dirty planting veggies and fruits, sharing their bounty with the soup kitchen. It's a verdant haven where volunteers can sow seeds of change and watch them bloom!
