Work with a team of volunteers to help capture real life issues and challenges faced by people living in deprived and poor communities. Help create shot films and documentaries to create awareness to help improve the lives of underprivileged people in Ghana.
Your day starts after breakfast which is 8:am in the morning. you will be working with a team of volunteers and our project coordinators. As a team you will decide which issues you will like your project to focus on and address. You will meet with local chiefs, community elders, youth groups and the necessary government authorities to interview them to get an insight and gather information for your project.
Your day is divided into two parts: You will be in the field from 8am to 1pm working in the community interviewing, filming and getting all the information you need. Then you come back to the volunteer house for a lunch break. Then from 2:pm to 4:30pm you will be working in the office with your team putting together all the information you got from the field and also discuss and plan what you will be doing the next day. After 4:30pm you have the rest of the day to yourself to explore the community with your fellow volunteers.
VOLUNTEER GET THE WEEKENDS OFF TO GO ON TRIPS AND EXPLORE GHANA; Ghana has so much to offer volunteers with its rich culture, festivals, food, art & craft centers, castles & forts, long sandy beaches, national parks, waterfalls, rain forest and other interesting places to visit.
