Sur le projet

Volunteer Vietnam has been placing volunteers in Vietnam for nearly 20 years. We operate to help improve the quality of life for the most disadvantaged people.

Mission and history: Volunteer Vietnam was founded in 2004 by Viet Dang. Viet is a Vietnamese person and has a passion helping others in need. He worked as a volunteer English teacher at many disadvantaged schools in central Vietnam. During that time, he had the chance to work together with many international volunteers who came and supported Vietnam. He was extremely impressed by their passion in helping others in need too. With his understanding about Vietnam, in July 2004 Viet decided to set up Volunteer Vietnam organization that offers quality volunteer programs to international volunteers which the volunteers can contribute the most to Vietnam and has the most rewarding volunteer experience oversea.

Values: Volunteers will have a chance to work for a local grassroot organization who has the deepest understanding about the needs from local communities. All the programs are run by Vietnamese people and we will work together with you closely, help you enter into the programs smoothly from the beginning, accompany with you to the placement sites to help you with volunteer activities, explain to you about the Vietnamese culture and life. Our staff are available 24/7 to support you when needed.

Goals: As we operate to help many disadvantaged people in Vietnam, our goal to get as many volunteers as possible to provide daily aids in education, healthcare and well-being for the disadvantaged people.
