The teaching and school reinforcement program seeks to demonstrate a better education, promoting participation and the learning of values such as solidarity, through spaces of effective participation in the community, contributing to the feeling of personal fulfilment and social responsibility of the people with whom we live.
By teaching and reviewing in SCHOOLS AND HOUSES the volunteer will be able to accompany and transmit their knowledge to children of different academic levels to reinforce and improve their school performance, in addition to guiding them in the study process where most children have difficulties in general knowledge of subjects such as mathematics, Spanish, English, among others, accompanied by the economies at home that do not allow them to have access to adequate education.
Through spaces for effective participation in the community, contributing to the feeling of personal fulfilment and social responsibility of the people we live with.

Iniciativa LIBRE is a space where volunteers can carry out workshops and activities that they are good at sharing with the children.
The sustainability of the project depends on the participation of volunteers, which is why we have been creating learning spaces in the village of Chame and the schools, as well as going to the homes of the children we have on the list (in need of support). These spaces are available for people who have the desire and enthusiasm to accompany us in this experience from 2 weeks.
The contributions received are destined to the care and development of the projects, donations of food or clothes, school materials, support in transporting students, supplies for the houses, accommodation, meals for the volunteers and the constant creation of new projects that benefit the development of the beneficiary villages.
Journée Typique
7:00 to 12:00 noon: This is the time when the volunteer is in a public school in the community. Some are assigned to classrooms and others to the special reinforcement classroom.
2:00 to 3:30 in the afternoon: This is a space where the volunteer attends to groups of children in their own homes. It is a space where you can do things that you are good at apart from helping the children in educational matters.
3:00 to 5:30 in the afternoon: During these hours you can also do film days, reading and writing workshops and didactic activities.
These times are defined according to the days of the week.

Considered the most beautiful islands in all of Latin America. Visitors choose them for their crystal clear waters and white sand. These islands are 3 hours from Panama City.
Bocas del Toro
It is very close to the Costa Rican border. On its beaches you can regularly go surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, enjoy the sun and the nightlife among many other activities.
Santa Catalina-Santiago Beach
It is a small coastal town, during the day you can go to the beach and go surfing. You can also book an excursion to Coiba Island.
Portobello and Mamey Island-Colón
This beautiful and historic place located in the Caribbean area can be visited in a weekend.

Pour participer à ce programme tu dois avoir au moins 18 ans quand le programme commence. Il peut y avoir des exceptions si tu peux montrer la permission de ton tuteur légal ou si tu es accompagné(e) par l'un de tes parents.

Services inclus
Volunteers are provided with the following:
- Accommodation in a volunteer house with other volunteers
- 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) from Monday to Thursday. On weekends, Thursdays and Fridays you can use the kitchen.
- Orientation day in the village to adapt to the area (Mondays).
- Support from the team from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 in the afternoon.
- Weekly follow-up and evaluation meeting.
- Certificate of participation at the request of the volunteer.
The house where we live is simple, in the centre of the village, humble but with everything necessary and comfortable. There is a good coexistence with the people of the village and respect for the culture and customs of the country.
Distribution of the house:
We have 3 rooms with fans:
- Room with 6 beds (bunk beds)
- 5-bed room (bunk beds and single)
- 4-bed room (bunk beds)
- We have two bathing areas: No hot water.
- Kitchen for communal use
- Drinking water on tap
- Lounge (rest area)
- Garden and Yoga and relaxation area (summer 2023)
- Laundry area: volunteers must bring their own washing soap.
As there are usually several people in the house and to make living together more harmonious and orderly, we do several daily tasks in which the volunteers support us. This organisational plan is usually posted on the general information board on a weekly basis. In this way, we take care of the space, respect the coexistence and create a moment to share and get to know each other better. Please find attached a link to the house rules.
- All 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are provided from Monday to Thursday.
- On weekends, Thursdays and Fridays you can use the kitchen.
- Breakfast is self-service and is usually available: Bread, crackers, jams, butter, cereals, pancake toppings, eggs and fruit twice a week
- Lunch and dinner are provided only at the volunteer's home
- It is not possible to order take-away.
- Drinks are not included (water, sodas, others).
- The water in Panama is drinkable so for the moment you can drink tap water. If a volunteer wishes to buy bottled water, he/she can do so.

Visa, billets d'avion, assurance voyage ne sont PAS inclus dans les frais de programme.
Le transfert de l'aéroport n'est pas inclus dans les frais non plus.
L'aéroport le plus proche est Tocumen International Airport (PTY) à Panama City. Nous t'aidons à trouver des vols pas chers pour aller en Panama.
Partir à l'étranger est une aventure et c'est toujours mieux d'être bien préparé. Que ce soit une maladie soudaine, une blessure ou du vol - une assurance voyage pour Panama te protège en cas de situation imprévue.
Si tu envisages de faire du bénévolat en Panama, nous te conseillons de consulter un médecin avant le début de ton voyage. Renseigne-toi sur les vaccins nécessaires pour Panama.

Joining the project and arrival in the country
- The project starts on Mondays and volunteers are expected to arrive in the country on Saturdays and Sundays.
- The induction and tour of the village only takes place on Mondays.
- Volunteers come to the project on their own, we only orientate them and help them to get to the project.
- We provide information about the country and transport so that the volunteer can find their way to the project on arrival.
