How to get there
When you arrive at the airport in San José, we recommend you stay for one night in the city and take the bus on the next day early morning. The bus company to Perez Zeledon (also called San Isidro de El General) is called "MUSOC". The bus runs every hour. We recommend the 09:30 am bus in San José. You can buy the ticket online on the website, where you can also find the departure times: https://www.musoccr.com/
You buy the ticket from San José to Perez Zeledon. Once there, you have to walk a few hundred meters to the next bus terminal, from where the bus to San Gerardo de Rivas leaves. The bus leaves on Sunday at 2:00 pm from the Terminal “Buses Municipales”. In San Gerardo de Rivas you will be picked up by a member of the project staff.
