Detaljer vid ankomsten
From Puerto Maldonado, a taxi will pick you up at the airport or your hostel upon arrival on the start date. the taxi will take you to the port and our boat will take you to and from the station.
The boat ride takes approximately one hour.
Please note that we have fixed boat schedules:
● On Wednesdays, the boat leaves the station in the morning to Puerto Maldonado. The boat returns the same day from Puerto Maldonado to the station at around 3 p.m.
● On weekends, the boat leaves the station on Saturday morning to Puerto Maldonado. On Sunday the boat returns from Puerto Maldonado towards the station at around 3 p.m.
This means that our departure days are on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and entries are on Wednesday and Sunday.
If you are planning a departure flight on a Wednesday or Saturday, we recommend booking it for after 12 p.m.
Prior to your arrival date, we will coordinate with you at what time exactly you need to be at which port, as ports or exact times may slightly change from day to day.
If you need to stay overnight in Puerto Maldonado, we can recommend a few hostels and accommodation options in the city. If you choose to stay at one of our recommended accommodations, we can more easily arrange a taxi pick-up on the day you travel towards the station, taking you from your accommodation to the port.
Please let us know where you are
staying in advance so that we can coordinate the pick-up and make sure you
arrive at the port in time for the boat.
