In Costa Rica it is known that for local, rural schools the Ministry of Education does very little to of help due to low enrollment. It is for this reason that these schools are in need of motivated and ambitious volunteers.

Tagesablauf
Volunteers will assist in many tasks depending on their skills and the necessity at their time of stay:
- serving food and cleaning the kitchen
- playing games,
- helping with homework and supporting social workers or teachers on their jobs.

Freizeitaktivitäten
During your free time there are many things that you can do and/or visit.
To name just a few:
- Surf Lessons
- Spanish lessons
- tours by the city of San Jose
- hiking to Volcanos
- Beaches
- National Parks
- rental car for the weekends
- cook lessons

Was ist NICHT inklusive?
Informationen zur Anreise
Volunteers are picked up from the San Jose International Airport by the local coordinator or representative.
Those volunteers who are arriving overland or are already in Costa Rica will be picked up at a meeting point decided beforehand.
Transport to the airport is not include because some volunteers decide to travel by themselves around the country.
