This programs aims to support the animals like dog and cats in Kathmandu valley under the government registered private vet clinics to hospitals.  This kind of animals can be private owned or public street dogs or cats  from the community. 
Para veterinary workers will assist a veterinary physician in the performance of their duties, or carry out animal health procedures autonomously as part of a veterinary care system. The job role varies throughout the world, and common titles include veterinary nurse, veterinary technician, veterinary assistant and veterinary technologist, and variants with the prefix of 'animal health'.  

This program is likely to bring the young's and energetic volunteers in Nepal and also helping the local animals and also the vet staffs at the same time with the new technique they are learning lately

Volunteers will wake up and after having breakfast at 7am, they can teach the vet hospital and can work 4-5 hours before returning for late lunch to the home stay.

Volunteers will wake up and after having breakfast at 7am, they can teach the vet hospital and can work 4-5 hours before returning for late lunch to the home stay. 

While volunteers can walk around to the temples and city center during the day, read books, help the local family in cooking and cleaning to get engage with some things and later in the evening have a dinner before bed.

You will ride the public buses while in Kathmandu to get the clinic from home stay.

Âge minimum: 18 ans

Pour participer à ce programme tu dois avoir au moins 18 ans quand le programme commence. Il peut y avoir des exceptions si tu peux montrer la permission de ton tuteur légal ou si tu es accompagné(e) par l'un de tes parents.

Our representative will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your home stay and give you the necessary info including the visit to some local sights and orientation about the program and locality. When you are fine to start the program, you will be taken to the place where your work starts.

The Good karma foundation was founded after the Nepal Earthquake of April 2015, the biggest disaster of our history. The Foundation helped in the huge rebuilding and reconstruction work, which captivated our volunteers from worldwide destinations. This year has been one of the most trying in Nepalese history. Our plan is to go ahead with as much work as we can fund to make Nepal a better place to live in guided by our best idea as, our altruistic philosophy, our resources and technology.

There are many national and international, non-governmental organizations in Nepal and Good Karma is trying to be an effective one. Good Karma wants to bring practical results from its work and if you are interested in these practical results you can be part of our foundation. The Good Karma Foundation will basically work with help of volunteers worldwide who want to rebuild and help Nepal.

Most of the Institutions are currently focusing on areas like Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan but our goal is to cover outlaying areas of Nepal, possibly in all 75 districts of our country. The nice part of our projects is we want to touch all the district of country, not only focusing on the easy areas.

Our focus will be on issues of Health and Education which can help Nepal to make a better place for tomorrow. We also organize training and social awareness in the areas respectively. Most of the population of the country live in the urban and mountain area and lack basic medical care.

If you are interested, please send us your full information and in which district you would like to volunteer. We can also help you to choose the area of volunteering. Even if you are in short time we can recommend closer areas from the urban center. if you are intending to do long term volunteering, we recommend to focusing on marginal areas of the country.
