    À propos du programme

This program is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and are passionate about contributing to educational initiatives that help children develop and build a brighter future. Participants should have a basic knowledge of English and be able to communicate effectively in English.
Your daily work will involve going to kindergartens and primary schools to support educational projects for around 200 children aged 4 to 11. These children come from low-income families and have limited access to educational opportunities. You will work as part of a team alongside other volunteers and our staff to teach basic English, promote oral hygiene, raise awareness about environmental protection, and provide various life skills training. These projects are designed to help the children develop their potential, improve their quality of life, and build a brighter future.
Upon your arrival, we will provide a two-day orientation and training program. The training program is designed to help you understand the nature of the work and ensure a smooth and successful start to your volunteering experience.
If you are working or studying in the field of education, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share your knowledge, experience, and insights with the project. By working together and learning from one another, we can continue to improve and develop the project to make an even greater impact.
You will stay at our volunteer residence, known as the Green House. The Green House is like a hotel exclusively for volunteers, offering comfortable accommodation and all the essential amenities you need during your stay. Living at the Green House gives you the opportunity to make friends with volunteers from around the world and connect closely with our staff team.

    Journée typique

Each week, you will work from Monday morning to Friday morning, giving you a long weekend from Friday afternoon onward to explore Da Nang City and the many attractions in the surrounding area.
You will teach at the schools during the mornings. Your responsibilities may include:
    • Teaching English: You will help children improve their pronunciation, build vocabulary, form sentences, and practice basic conversations. The goal is to help them gain confidence in communicating in English with foreigners.
    • Dental Health Education: You will teach children proper and effective oral hygiene practices and how to take care of their teeth.
    • Personal Hygiene: You will guide children on correct handwashing and face-washing techniques to maintain good personal hygiene.
    • Environmental Education: You will teach children how to dispose of waste properly and encourage them to keep their surroundings clean by placing trash in designated areas.

You will work as part of a team alongside other international volunteers and our local staff. Together, you will prepare lesson plans, organize activities, and visit schools to deliver the programs and engage with the children.

Each week, you will spend approximately 20 hours supporting our educational projects. During the remainder of the program, you will have the opportunity to assist with healthcare and welfare initiatives for vulnerable individuals at local social care centers.
This additional work will provide you with a different and equally rewarding experience, allowing you to broaden your perspective, develop new skills, and enrich your overall volunteer journey.
