    À propos du programme

Take this amazing opportunity to work along with wildlife Researchers and Biologists in the Tov Province located in Mongolia! Assist by collecting data and information on one of the world’s rarest and endangered species of Horses, the Wild Takhi a.k.a Przewalskis Horses!

Wild Przelwaski horses were extinct at one point in time. It was reported that the last Przewalski horse was seen around the year of 1966. Most horses that were classified as ‘wild’ such as the American Mustang were descendants of a certain species of horse known as ‘Feral Horses’. These horses are known to be free-roaming horses of domesticated ancestry that further escaped and adapted to living in the wild. Przewalskis horses on the other hand, has never been domesticated thus making it the only specie that is truly wild in the world today!
The main objective of the project is to obtain voluntary support and contribution from volunteers around the world to aid the worthwhile research/work on adaptation, biological and ethological issues of the wild Takhi reintroduction, field ecosystem research and other activities. Volunteer for a minimum of 1 week up to a maximum of 4 weeks at this great project in Mongolia! Get in close contact with these magnificent wild creatures, monitor their behavior & growth, collect data on their habitat and the surrounding flora and fauna population and not forgetting, go on Horse Rides over Mongolia’s vast and beautiful landscapes!
