Sociale impact

The 20 yrs has seen a drastic increase in the scale of threats facing the ocean and its wildlife . The wasteful practice of shark finning has expanded radically pushing many populations to the brink of collapse . Climate change and pollution are having devastating effects on critical marine environments and the creatures living within them.

Over the last decade Sharklife has played a vital role in raising awareness about marine conservation issues whilst advocating for the increased protection of sharks. In addition through our Ocean Center, online learning portal and community education initiatives, Sharklife drives a ground swell of change towards more responsible and compassionate use of our ocean resources.
