- Assist with animal care and anti-poaching through K9 patrols, dog grooming, horse washing, and participate in community projects supporting and uplifting local communities.
- Take part in expert-led lectures, guided nature walks, day/night wildlife drives, river walks, and talks on botany, geology, birds, snakes, scorpions, and insects.
- Join braai evenings, bonfires, movie nights, Rhino Olympics, and stargazing, plus town trips and optional visits to Kruger National Park during your stay.

The day begins at 06h00 with everyone meeting in the communal area for early morning coffee and rusks. Shortly afterwards, between 06h15 and 06h30, there is a daily briefing and program overview before heading to the bomas. We don’t have assigned days off. Generally, volunteers let us know when they’d like to take a break. Extra activities are also planned for volunteers, usually over weekends.
