It’s time to take real action. It’s a widely known fact
that rhinos are on the brink of extinction – but not if
we have anything to say about it.
This volunteer program is especially suitable for:
The massive rise of rhino poaching has made waves throughout the world, as it becomes more evident by the day that if drastic action isn’t taken, our future generations may very well come to know the rhinoceros as an extinct creature.
Taking action requires innovative ideas and ingenuity, and the Rhino Momma Project did exactly that, they took decisive action in an innovative
manner, and as a result, they have made a signi8cant difference in the growing numbers of rhinos in Namibia.
Be a part of saving this iconic species from extinction. They need all the help they can get with round the clock feeding observation, data
management, admin, and the general well-being of these animals.
When volunteering with us, you will be helping take care of our rhinos, monitoring their activity and behavior, and so much more! Every day is a new adventure, filled with excitement, fun, and learning.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work up close with these beautiful animals and be a part of their legacy.
As there are no set times and we are working with animals anything can happen, but a typical day starts with morning feeding, animal counts,
and reports on animals. It is also worth noting, that our activities vary in the seasons. After the rainy season when the wild grass is enough, feeding does not take place.
On the rare occasion that we have an orphaned rhino, you may be involved in helping with the care of the baby rhino.
